This department is about articles and recipes you can make from home for the care of full body skin (instead of a localized area only) using oils, butters, and waxes.

    Whipped Shea Butter

    1. In a double boiler, melt 1.5 oz coconut oil and 4 oz shea butter.

    2. Stir.

    3. Cool in refrigerator.

(Steps 1-3 can be skipped, but melting ingredients first keeps the shea butter completely blended with no chunks.  In warmer weather, above 80 degrees, you may want to also melt some beeswax in to hold the whipped texture.)

    4. Whip in standing mixer.

    5. Add essential oil as desired.
